Over the last several months, consumers have had to get creative and practice DIY hair, face and skin routines at home. While consumers are eager to return to their professional services, some new at-home practices have taken hold. As their practices slowly become commonplace, professional brands are starting to make their products available directly to consumers.

Michelle and Hair, founded by beauty expert Michelle Anderson, is also getting into the consumer product game and will be offering products such as hair extensions, specialized beauty routines and specific styles for BIPOC women.
“I found that my customers needed more than just my salon services," says Anderson. "They were in search of missing products especially made for Black women, so I launched my at-home products to assist them, even while we are apart. As a wife and mom of six, I understand that women want quality and their budget may not always fit that. Lots of women sacrifice their self-care and I wanted to make sure that she can have it all.”
