Tomonobu Ezure, of Shiseido, presented a highly engaging video demonstrating how tension differs in skin, the causes of it, and its implications in skin sagging for a novel anti-aging approach. More specifically, he identified how fine hair fibers within the 'voids' of skin collagen 'rings' can remodel the surrounding collagen rings.

Delivering Efficacy, Well Aging and the Microbiome: Day 1 at IFSCC London 2022

Day one of IFSCC opened with a deep dive into delivering product efficacy; skin health/protection and well aging; the skin microbiome; and advances in hair science. Notably, there was standing room only for talks focused on skin aging and luminescence.
