Industry Talks
While the show floor will offer boundless opportunities to source the latest ingredients, the education programme at this year’s in-cosmetics Global will bring together leading industry experts to explore the more pertinent trends impacting cosmetics and personal care brands. Market intelligence will be explored in the Marketing Trends Theatre, where experts will be on hand to deliver the latest industry research and market analysis.
Representatives from Euromonitor, Kline & Co, Light Years, Mintel, Beautystreams, Globaldata, Gallinée, NPD Group, Asia Cosme Lab, Beauty Cluster Barcelona, Beauty Kitchen and more will all take to the stage over the course of the three days, covering a wide range of topics from fragrance innovation, Gen Z and the new purpose-driven era of beauty, transformation of haircare in a post-pandemic world, and more.
The Sustainability Corner Theatre, sponsored by AAK, will see experts from Roelmi HPC, Geltor, Cargill, Solvay and Farmforce showcase the latest advancements and achievements in sustainable beauty. Meanwhile, Technical Seminars delivered by Active Concepts, Solvay, Sharon Personal Care, Active Micro Technologies, Lipotrue and Bachem will offer inspiration for new product formulations and alternative solutions for existing projects.
The popular Formulation Lab will return, sponsored by Brenntag, with a carefully curated programme to provide exclusive opportunities for formulators and R&D specialists to get hands-on with the latest formulation techniques. Designed for R&D and lab staff of cosmetic, contract manufacturers, private labels and indue brands, the sessions will take a deep dive into the technical applications and formulations using selected ingredients.
For example, on day one, Ashland will invite participants to prepare a pigment dispersion with vegan, nature-derived, biodegradable antaron soja glyceride, while Azelis will teach attendees how to formulate cold process crème gels using oleosomes.
For attendees looking for more interactive demonstrations of formulations live at the show, Mintel will deliver a programme of three live demonstrations exploring the "Future of Beauty: Key Trends and Products Shaping the Industry." Taking place in the Innovation Zone, experts will come together to address evolving consumer lifestyles and priorities, the importance of sustainability and ethics, the changing role of identify, and the influence of technology on the future of beauty.
