Symrise Cosmetic Ingredients will focus on stress care, as consumers are experiencing a polycrisis – stress from the pandemic and economic pressure – at this year's CASCC Suppliers’ Day, running Oct. 25 and 26, at booth #256.
88% of adults agree that emotional stress impacts their physical appearance (Mintel, Holistic Beauty report 2022). The three key platforms highlighted will be rest imagined (focusing on the importance of sleep), psychodermatology (an emerging field exploring the connection between mental health and appearance) and intentional essentials (a "back-to-basics" approach consumers are embracing).
Aligning with these three stress care platforms are Symrise’s three newest launches. The first is SymProt’In Oat (INCI: Water (Aqua) (and) Avena Sativa (Oat) Peptide (and) 1,2-Hexanediol (and) Caprylyl Glycol), an adaptive peptide that repairs and improves hair strength and resistance and decreases breakage. Another launch is Supervisome EPH (INCI: Maltodextrin (and) Achillea Millefolium extract), a natural glow enhancer that increases skin luminosity, radiance and brightness and protects against stress induced damage. It is 100% natural and biodegradable. Lastly, SymEffect UV (INCI: Hydrogenated Palm Oil (and) Saccharum Officinarum (Sugarcane) Extract) is a new vegan SPF booster for both mineral and chemical sunscreens.
