Lush is expanding its retail reach outside its own channels for the first time in North America via a partnership with Ulta.com.
"This is our first B2B partnership in North America and we are excited to see how it evolves," Carrie Harambasic, Lush’s head of business development, told Global Cosmetic Industry. "We are thrilled to bring our range of fresh handmade cosmetics to Ulta’s wide consumer base across the US."
Harambasic added, "We have over 200 stores across North America and we will be expanding brick and mortar doors significantly throughout 2024, but this was an opportunity to scale beyond what we could on our own leveraging Ulta’s immense digital reach. We continue to show up in spaces and places that you don’t expect us. We are expanding our brick and mortar doors, but we are also thinking beyond traditional retail. Accessibility in time for the holiday season and meeting people where we are not is a top priority."
Sets presented on the Ulta platform include The Cow Jumped Over the Rainbow Bathing Duo, Blue Skies, Haircare Discovery Set, One More Sleep, Cozy Christmas Discovery Set, and the Snow Fairy Shower and Body Duo.
Harambasic explains, "Ulta’s range of exclusive Discovery Kits feature some of our bestsellers across bath, shower, skin, and hair. Customers can expect the same fresh, handmade, packaging-free products that Lush is known and loved for. The partnership will feature an exclusive range of Discovery Sets featuring best-selling Lush products, as well as Holiday Sets."
