Pharmavite LLC, parent of Nature Made vitamins, has acquired Bonafide Health, a specialist in menopausal and sexual health/wellness.
The purchase adds to Pharmavite's women’s health business, which comprises Uqora, a urinary tract health brand, and Equelle, a supplement feature S-equol, which addresses estrogen decline.
Bonafide Health's products, including Revaree, Relizen, Ristela, Clairvee, Serenol and The Silvessa System, address hot flashes, vaginal dryness, the vaginal microbiome, sexual satisfaction and more.
Bonafide will continue to operate out of its current headquarters in Harrison, New York with no workforce cuts.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Bonafide Health to Pharmavite," said Jeff Boutelle, CEO of Pharmavite. “This acquisition positions us as the nation’s leading women’s health nutraceutical company, signaling a new era of innovation and science-based solutions in this underserved space. Bonafide’s unwavering commitment to research, development, and robust scientific evidence mirrors Pharmavite’s rigorous standards, while its deep relationship with healthcare professionals aligns with our goal of ensuring nutrition education is at the forefront of the industry.”
“Our steadfast commitment to science and innovation has allowed us to build something special at Bonafide Health and we’ve been looking for the right partner to grow the business and reach more women that need support. Pharmavite is that partner,” said Michael Satow co-founder and CEO of Bonafide Health. “Pharmavite deeply understands the importance of the model we’ve built, from the rigorous scientific data that underpins our products, to the power of the work we do with the doctors and other health care providers who are having conversations with women across the country looking for better solutions.”
