L’Oréal has made three additions to its executive committee.
The appointments include Alexandra Palt, chief corporate responsibility officer and executive vice president of the Fondation L’Oréal; Vincent Boinay, general manager for travel retail worldwide; and Fabrice Megabrane, president, L’Oréal China.
- Palt, who previously held a career in law, joined L’Oréal as chief sustainability officer in 2012. In this role, she launched L’Oréal’s sustainability program, Sharing Beauty With All. She was appointed executive vice president of the Fondation L’Oréal in 2017, adding to her role as head of the company’s sustainability department.
- Boinay joined L’Oréal Luxe in 1992, and has since held several positions within travel retail. His previous roles include director, international development for Lancôme; general manager for Biotherm/Cacharel in France; vice president in charge of L’Oréal Luxe in Japan; and general manager, international retail L’Oréal Luxe, heading the worldwide retail excellence program. He was appointed to his current role, general manager for travel retail worldwide, in 2014.
- Megarbane—who was appointed president, L’Oréal China in 2019—joined the company’s professional products division in 2000. His previous roles include general manager, L’Oréal Lebanon; director, consumer products division for the Africa Middle-East zone; and general manager of L’Oréal Germany.
Palt and Boinay will assume their new roles on September 1, 2019; Megarbane joined the executive committee on July 1, 2019.
