As we reported in August 2023, Pleasing is set to release a trio of fragrances ($135 each), Bright, Hot; Closeness; and Rivulets. The scents will officially launch on November 16, 2023.
All were formulated by fragrance house Robertet. The collaboration reportedly prioritized "consciously harvested materials, locally sourced ingredients through partnerships with co-op programs that support small communities and environmentally efficient production methods."
Rivulets features notes of ambrette seeds, lemon, black pepper, a white linen accord, Ambroxan (originally developed by Firmenich) and more.
Closeness features notes of Australian pink pepper extract, cardamom essential oil, a clean sheets accord, orris butter, French carrot seed, Indian papyrus, cashmere woods and salted musk.
Bright, Hot features notes of plum, tobacco leaves, orris butter, a marine accord, cedarwood, tonka bean absolute, vanilla absolute sourced from Madagascar and amber.
