Sun Chemical has expanded its SunPURO Naturals product line with two natural colorants for use in cosmetic and personal care formulations.
The SunPURO Natural products line aims to strike a balance between responsibility and naturality, offering conscious color and purposeful products, per the company.

SunPURO Natural Carotene O N70-2317 (INCI: Beta-Carotene (and) Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil (and) Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil (and) Tocopherol) is a farmed beta carotene, derived from dunaliella salina algae. The ingredient imparts a warm orange hue and delivers vivid color from yellow to orange and antioxidant properties which can be used in both color cosmetics and skin care products, per the company.
SunPURO Natural Carotene BTO N70-2527 (INCI: Beta-Carotene (and) Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil) is a natural, orange-red colorant made through the bio-fermentation of beta carotene. The bio-fermentation process allows for enhanced yield while minimizing the product’s environmental impact, per the company.
