Evonik has expanded its Ecohance line with Ecohance Soft Baobab (INCI: Adansonia Digitata Seed Oil), a sustainable baobab oil sourced from the Sahel region of Ghana.
Ecohance Soft Baobab is a natural botanical emollient for skin and hair care containing a high and well-balanced amount of nature identical triglycerides with unsaturated omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, which are known to have skin caring, moisturizing and nourishing properties, according to ULprospector.

The ingredient is refined from the non-edible seeds of the baobab fruit and can be used in a wide range of natural cosmetic formulations, such as hand creams, hair conditioners and body butters. Ecohance Soft Baobab was recently certified by the FairWild Foundation.
The FairWild Foundation certifies companies and products according to 11 principles and 29 criteria that address ecological, social and economic requirements for sustainable wild collection.
