Two more celebrities are joining the growing list of famous beauty entrepreneurs: Selena Gomez and Ciara.
Harper’s Bazaar reports that Selena Gomez has filed a trademark for ‘Selena Gomez’ with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The list includes “fragrances, cosmetics, skin care preparations, hair care preparations, soaps, moisturizers and essential oils.”
Though the range won’t be the singer-actress-Instagram star’s first foray into beauty—she released her eponymous fragrance in 2013, and has lent her face to brands including Coach—it will be the first consumer brand released under her production company, July Moon Productions.
Meanwhile, InStyle reports that singer Ciara “hinted” at her own beauty brand while speaking on a panel at Beautycon Los Angeles.
“The beauty space is inevitable for me,” said the singer. “It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to do something in the beauty space, and there are lots of cool things that I’ve been cooking up and working on, and I can’t wait until the time is here to share it with the world.”
