Inolex has launched AminoSensyl Ultra MB (INCI: Cetearyl Alcohol (and) Brassicyl Valinate Esylate), an amino lipid technology offering a sustainable replacement for behentrimonium chloride (BTAC). The ingredient will be featured at in-cos Global in Barcelona, March 28-30.
AminoSensyl Ultra MB offers a bio-based conditioning system that provides deep moisturization and strengthening across multiple hair types, ranging from straight to coily, and hair states ranging from healthy to damaged. It is gentle on the scalp, eyes and skin and is readily biodegradable and safe for aquatic environments, per the company.

The ingredient contains 100% USDA certified biobased content, has an ISO 16128 natural origin index of 1.0; is COSMOS and NATRUE approved, halal certified, Kosher compliant, vegan-friendly and never tested on animals.
