The hygiene category can sometimes be mistaken as an innovation backwater typified by basic functionality. But a range of recent launches shows that the category is shaking up norms and infusing new benefits for consumers.

Touchland shook up the hand sanitizer category through sleek packaging and great fragrances. Now, the brand has added a new benefit: anti-aging.
Touchland’s Glow Mist Rejuvenating Hand Sanitizer spray reportedly leaves users’ hands moisturized, dewy and germ-free. It retails for $16 online at Sephora, Aerie and Touchland.com.
The formulation is vegan and cruelty-free. Key ingredients include 70% ethyl alcohol for sanitizing action, radish root ferment for antimicrobial protection, aloe vera for moisturization, and lemon essential oil for skin nourishing and purification.
