CVS has announced that Nyma Tang, activist and beauty Youtuber, will serve as its first beauty inclusivity consultant.

In this role, Tang will collaborate with CVS on internal education and support growth opportunities for all customers, around everything from product assortment to marketing efforts and brand collaborations.
As CVS’ beauty inclusivity consultant, Tang will lead programming, such as:

Inclusivity leadership: Ongoing counsel and discussions with CVS executives surrounding key considerations towards enhancing diversity in its beauty aisles, brand partners and marketing.

Internal education: Monthly workshops with CVS beauty teams to inspire further advancement and inform decisions and programming across marketing channels, in-store and online.

Identifying new brands: Guidance around the discovery and expansion of Black-owned beauty brands, as well as products that meet the needs of all beauty customers, on CVS shelves.

Interactive experiences: Launch of the “CVS Beauty x Nyma Tang Masterclass Series,” which will spotlight Black industry talent and leaders across the beauty and wellness categories, highlighting their accomplishments, creativity, and perspectives.
