Accepting the New Technology Award on behalf of Silab was Jean-Philippe Cosson. Silab's Coheliss natural active ingredient acts as an internal tensor. According to the company, by stimulating the mechano receptors and alpha-SMA fibers, the ingredient maintains mechanical tension in dermal tissue thereby stimulating skin mechanical resistance facing gravitational forces. The ingredient is recommended for antiaging applications and was featured in the November 2006 issue of Cosmetics & Toiletries magazine in an article by Catherine Lenaers et al. titled, "Wrinkle Reduction by Stimulation of the Skin's Mechanical Resistance."
Accepting the New Technology Launch Award on behalf of Cognis was Mike Coxney. The company's APG ad campaign, includes 6 motifs (3 personal care and 3 home care).
