Awantys GmbH has received the EcoVadis gold rating for sustainability efforts in its first year of participation in the assessment. This places the company in the top 5% of participating companies globally.

The award coincides with the launches of Awyverde, a proprietary bio-compound packaging solution, and Awycyle, packaging created from post-consumer resin.
The company also recently announced it is creating packaging from certified ocean plastics.
Carsten Wolansky, managing partner of Awantys Group, says, “The EcoVadis gold medal is an objective acknowledgment of Awantys’ dedication to sustainability and our continuous efforts to advance in this area. It is a strong sign towards all our stakeholders and strengthens our commitment to further pursue this course.”
