On April 11, 2022, Amyris completed its acquisition of Onda Beauty, a clean beauty business co-founded by actress Naomi Watts and Larissa Thomson and Sarah Bryden-Brown.

Previously, Amyris, Inc. announced a partnership with Watts to create a new consumer brand focused on science-backed, menopause wellness products.

Deal terms were not disclosed.

Per the company, "This acquisition aligns with Amyris’ strategy to deepen its relationships with consumers."
